Cookies and Browser Storage We Use

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use local storage and IndexedDB on your device for the purposes described below.

The sign-in session cookie lasts for 7 days and may be renewed while you use your account. A separate session-data cookie caches session information for 1 hour. Signing out clears the sign-in cookies. A temporary Cookie is used to validate the Google sign-in callback and expires after 10 minutes.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used for anti-bot checks. Its verification token is single-use and expires after 5 minutes; this token is not a sign-in cookie.

The language cookie remembers your selected language. It is a session cookie with no fixed expiry time; your browser manages its lifetime, including any session restoration. The sidebar preference cookie remembers whether the account sidebar is open or closed for 7 days.

Recovery of a Pending Photo

When you leave the studio to sign in, we can temporarily keep the selected photo and processing choices in IndexedDB on your device so you can resume. A cookie marks that a pending photo exists for 30 minutes; it does not contain the photo. Recovery is limited to 30 minutes. Expiry of that cookie does not itself remove the IndexedDB record. The page attempts to clear the record after successful processing or when it reads an expired record.

Theme Preference

Your selected light, dark or system theme is kept in local storage, rather than a cookie. It has no automatic expiry and remains until you change it or clear this site's browser storage.

PayPal Checkout

Our payment flow redirects to PayPal without loading an embedded PayPal checkout SDK or setting additional payment cookies on this site. Returning here uses the sign-in session cookies described above. PayPal pages may use their own cookies and storage, governed by PayPal's privacy statement and cookie settings. We do not assign an unverified fixed retention period to those third-party cookies.

Managing Cookies and Browser Storage

You can delete or block cookies and clear this site's browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in or recovery of a pending photo. For questions, contact [email protected].
